CAP 600

CAP 600 is a premium veterinary anticoccidial formulation containing Amprolium Hydrochloride, a proven antiprotozoal agent used extensively in poultry and livestock production. Description

Amprolium Hydrochloride is a broad-spectrum antiprotozoal compound used for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in poultry, cattle, sheep, and goats. It acts as a thiamine (Vitamin B1) analogue, competitively inhibiting thiamine uptake by coccidia.

As the parasites depend on thiamine for survival and multiplication, the inhibition of thiamine utilization leads to nutritional deprivation and eventual destruction of the protozoal organisms.

CAP 600 provides effective control of coccidial infections and supports improved intestinal health, growth performance, and overall productivity.

Indications

Contra indications

Do not administer to animals known to be hypersensitive to Amprolium Hydrochloride or related compounds.

Dosage

For oral use only

Cattle (Calves)

8 gm per 100 kg body weight 1-2 days.

Sheep/Lamb

1.5 gm per 20 kg body weight 1-2 days.

Poultry

Prevention: 1 gm in 10 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Treatment: 1 gm in 5 liters of drinking water for 5-7 days.

Observe withdrawal periods specified on the product label and comply with local regulatory requirements.
