PriDox 50 contains Doxycycline Hyclate, a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic used for the management of a wide range of bacterial infections. It is also commonly used in the treatment of severe acne and rosacea, and for malaria prevention. Additionally, it is widely utilized as post-exposure prophylaxis (Doxy-PEP) to help reduce the risk of certain bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Description

Indications

Contra indications

Side effects

Dosage

For oral use only

Calves, sheep and goats

1 gm/ 50 kg body weight for 3~5 days, twice daily.

Poultry

10~20 mg/ kg body weight or 13.5 gm per 100 liters of drinking water for 3~5 consecutive days.

Withdrawal times

Not applicable for human medicinal product. For veterinary use, follow local regulatory guidelines if prescribed.
