Description

Oxytetracycline is a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic belonging to the tetracycline group. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, preventing the growth and multiplication of susceptible bacteria.

Indications

Oxytrac 95% is indicated for the treatment and control of bacterial infections caused by Oxytetracycline-sensitive microorganisms, including:

Dosage

For oral use only.

Calves, sheep and goats

Twice daily 1 g per 50 – 100 kg body weight for 3-5 days.

Poultry

10mg-20mg per 1kg body weight.
1gm per 4-5 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.
1 kg per/4000-5000 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.

Withdrawal times

Observe withdrawal periods as specified on the product label and in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
